Our fees - Until Jun 30
Raby Medical Centre is a bulk billing billing practice for most services. Some consults attract an out of pocket contribution.
You consultation fees(if applicable) are payable on the day of visit. To make your life a little easier, you will pay a single consultation fee and Medicare will automatically reimburse part of the total fee.
Your consultation fee and Medicare rebate depends on the complexity of your needs and time our clinical team will dedicate to you.
If you are don't have a Medicare card, you will pay normal consultation fees but will not get a rebate from Medicare.
WorkCover charges may be covered by your employer's WorkCover insurance. This depends on your claim being accepted. If you don't have a current claim number, you will have to pay us upfront and claim back from your employer later.
Additional services
We accept EFTPOS, cash and, major credit and debit cards.
Standard consultation fees
If the service attracts a fee, you will pay the full amount on the day and receive a rebate from Medicare. The below lists the effective out of pocket amount for services that attract a payment on the day.

All consults under 10mins in person - Bulk billed

All telephone consults during Covid 19 - Bulk billed

Standard consult under 20 mins - gap $26.8 (concession $16.8)

Medium consult under 25 mins - gap $46.05 (concession $36.05)

Long consult under 45 mins - gap $71.15 (concession $51.15)
Concession
If you are under 16 y.o. or over 65 y.o. with a Commonwealth Concession Card you will pay a lower fee.
International student or visitor
If you don't have a Medicare Card or are from a country without reciprocal arrangement, your consultation fees will be as per the above fees. However you will not receive a rebate from Medicare.
